[Zeptonix - Firestorm II]

Well, you've improved.
The piano parts are nice, but a bit bland, with nothing else there. The buildups are basically perfect...
But the thing what lets this down the most is that it's loud as hee e e e ell, and that most of the things in the drops have too much reverb and are too muddy.
Also, some things in the drop don't fit together, like the high-pitched synth, where basically everything else is low-pitched.

This honestly reminds me way too much of ParagonX9 without the amen... :P
All of the sounds sound spot on while ALSO fitting perfectly well together, that's what can make a song great. The lead though sounds a bit too high pitched at some times, though it's not really that noticeable. Also them shakers sound like they belong in a song with 522BPM, lol.
I'll have to subtract a few points though because the song doesn't have that much diversity throughout the entire thing, especially the drops.

Keep on what you're doing, just make sure it has more diversity to it and it'll be a solid 5.
Overall, 8.25/10, 4/5.

And yeah you're right about that. I wanted to change the second drop to something completely different even go with a different chord progression for the second part. Unfortunately I don't have the project file anymore ... but oh well.

I honestly don't believe this is 12 years old and counting, everything just fits so well together and the constant evolution of the song makes it sound more interesting, and that flanger, 4.45 is pretty reasonable for an overall score.

0:00-0:50 - I really liked the atmosphere it created, sounding like hammers from one of modem's tracks. Really drags on though. :I
0:50-1:27 - The kicks really just drowned out the entire hammer sounds, you should've made the kicks less quiet or the hammers louder.
1:28-2:07 - The arp sounded nice, but again, the kicks drowned it. Again, it drags on a bit.
2:07-2:20 - The high-hats are a really nice touch to it, finally something not drowned.
2:20-3:18 - Wow, that arp just sounds plain amazing, fitting in with the track as a whole. But again, it still drags on.
3:18-3:44 - Basically 1:28-2:07.
3:44-4:09 - Really nice outro.

Total, 3/5, 6/10. Really good sound design, but things dragged on way too much and some things basically drowned.

this kick is supposed to be really hard and muff out all else, but you're right it has really bad mixing throughout the track, the arp should sound clearer. I might come back to this to fix it. Ive only used this track in my mixes to enhance or give some spice to a different track so that's why it drags a lot, so i could loop the thing :D ty for your constructive review, ill look into it :P

I'm sorry, but just why?
I liked the riser at 0:00-0:04, but the synth at 0:05-0:27 just felt like it was really empty and only one thing was really going on.
At 0:28-0:39, the kicks didn't fit with the synth, making it sound a bit worse, but only slightly less empty. I know that this is Speedcore/Extratone, but the kicks just don't fit.
0:39-0:44 Just really sounded annoying, honestly.
0:44-0:49 Just sounded more annoying with them not fitting.
But, things have not gone horrible yet, until...
0:52-1:03 Sounds like a complete mess, with the kicks basically repeating on and on, which makes it sound ear-bleeding.
1:03-1:14 Only sounded slightly better by the other kicks, that actually sounds a bit nice.
1:14-1:19 - Do I really need to explain this?
1:19-1:24 Is just like 0:52-1:03, sounding irritating.
1:24-1:35 Just adds another synth, not even fitting with anything so it sounds awful.
1:35-1:40 - Eh, average outro.

Grand total: 1/5, 2/10. Everything sounded like it didn't fit together, with some horrible kick-spam.
